Sky Media Post Card-Parrots

This diminutive and brilliantly colored parrot occurs everywhere in the hills up to about 1300 meters it also occurs in low country wet zone.  Smaller numbers occur in the drier parts of the hills (on the eastern slopes) and adjacent foothills. Usually lives in pairs and sometimes in small flocks. Kandy, Kitulgala and Sinharaja are its favorite haunts.
